Illustration Friday: CHANGE
Illustration Friday. I missed last week's (well I wouldn't say I missed it, oooooh) word due to no inspiration, 2 weddings, a bachelor's party, rehersal dinner, Patriots opening day game (I was there, hooray) and a barrage of other things. Oh well, it was "farm" and I probably would have done something including corn. So there. This week, "change."
Illustration Friday: SAFE
Illustration Friday. Again, something that popped in my mind right away. A play on the word "safe." I hope you can tell what's going on. A safe being safe with elbow and knee pads in a not-so-safe place. Did I mention safe? Safe. Safe. Safe. I'm quite proud of this one, probably one of my best to date.
Illustration Friday: RUN
Illustration Friday. This was the first thing that came to my mind. So I did this and listened to Raising Hell. It's tricky.
Illustration Friday: MATCH
Illustration Friday. Haha. Oh well, I thought this was funny, a multiple meaning take on the word "match." I can picture this being an ad for one of those online dating sites. Hilarious.
Illustration Friday: PLAY
Illustration Friday. Meh, not too pleased with this one, but didn't want to let a word pass me by. It's been a weird week of interviewing other illustrators for some freelance work here at my work. So, I attribute my lack of quality illustration to having illustrators up the wazoo. Pass that buck.
Illustration Friday: CAPTURE
Illustration Friday. How to capture an artist/designer. I enjoyed doing this one because I had to go back and re-think perspective a few times. I think I got it right, but I've been staring at it for too long. I'm really digging these Illustration Friday words each week. It's getting me to draw and sketch things out more, which is what I want to do. May not be the best in results in the world, but hey, I'm having fun.
Illustration Friday: CLEAN
Second attempt at an Illustration Friday word. Something I did to warm up on a Monday morning. I've heard that a dog's mouth is the cleanest thing, so I figured this would fit the word well. I don't know if it's true or not, my dog's mouth is certainly stinky. I was going for a cut paper sort of look, again in Adobe Illustrator. Thanks for your comments last week. Comments welcome again!
